Our Goal Is Family Reunification

At Eagle Ranch Academy, we believe that treatment isn't just for the teen—it's for the whole family. The issues your child is facing didn't develop in isolation, and they won't be resolved in isolation either.

That's why family involvement isn't optional or an afterthought at ERA. It's woven into every phase of treatment. From weekly therapy sessions to multi-day seminars, you'll be actively engaged in your child's journey and your family's healing.

Our ultimate goal isn't just to help your teen—it's to reunite and strengthen your entire family.

"I have learned through the program that both the parent and the child have to put in the work to see change."

Healing Together

Treatment is most effective when the family heals alongside the teen.

Staying Connected

How You'll Communicate

Even though your teen is in residential treatment, you'll stay connected throughout their journey.

Phone & Video Calls

After the initial self-discovery phase, you'll have two scheduled calls per week—social calls with your teen and therapy calls with the treatment team.

2x per week

Weekly Family Therapy

Each week, you'll participate in a family therapy session via HIPAA-compliant video conferencing with your teen and their licensed therapist.

1x per week

Postcards & Letters

During the first 2-6 weeks (self-discovery phase), communication is limited to postcards—a chance for your teen to focus inward before reconnecting with family.

Emotional Growth Seminars

One of the most powerful parts of our program is the Emotional Growth Seminars. These aren't lectures—they're transformative experiences that help parents and teens break down barriers, understand each other, and heal old wounds.

You'll attend the same seminars your teen does. This shared experience creates common language, common understanding, and a foundation for rebuilding your relationship.

1

First Seminar

Timed with your first visit. Focus on understanding, communication, and breaking old patterns.

2

Second Seminar

Deeper work on family dynamics, forgiveness, accountability, and rebuilding trust.

Who Attends

Seminars are for the whole family—not just parents.
