Giving is the greatest gift in the world and it doesn’t cost anything but a little bit of thoughtfulness. Give with great intentions. Give a smile to a stranger and you will be astounded of the outcome and their reaction. Your service counts wherever you can give it, whenever you can give it.
There are infinite amounts of ways that we can give. We give by simply smiling at others “just because”. We give by offering our service and being of service when it’s least expected. We give to our family and our friends. We give service within our occupations. We give everyday and we may not even realize it.
Here at Eagle Ranch Academy, we want our students to realize how influential giving service can be.

Give when it’s least expected.
Giving service when nobody is expecting it tends to be the time when people appreciate it the most. When you can sense the fact that somebody else is in need of service without them saying anything its like reading their mind. Nobody likes asking for help. Be the person that is ten steps ahead of everyone else around you and always be willing to offer your service even if it’s just a smile.
It’s the simple things in life that count the most.
Giving is simple. Giving service is simple. Service is help. Service is love. Service is being thoughtful. It’s all simple if we’re willing to actually do it and also recognize the gratification that comes from it. Not only do we feel gratified, but the people we give our service to feel more at ease. Helping others is one of the best ways we can give our service. It’s an all around win-win situation for EVERYONE.
Give knowing that you may not receive service in return.
One of the most common mistakes we all make in our everyday lives involves growing these expectations because we believe that we’ve lent our helping hand enough; we’re finished and we don’t need to help out anymore than we already have. There is no such thing as enough when it comes to giving service. Once we begin to understand this concept, giving our service will begin to come more natural. Most importantly, don’t let the fear of getting nothing in return stand in the way of the service you are capable of giving. If we get stuck in this type of rut, it will be extremely difficult to understand the power of giving service.
Giving service will show you exactly how you want to be treated in life. It will teach you how to be grateful and constantly fulfilled. With gratification and fulfillment comes endless happiness. Put good karma into the world because good karma is what will return to you.
Set the bar high and let your willingness to give rub off onto everyone else that surrounds you. You will make a difference in your life for the better as well as the lives of others.
